Make an Impact
ZLI’s Healthy Glow Campaign™ (formerly the Healthy Glow Fund) supports research that focuses on relationships of light with biological reproduction. Natural light is vital to health and fitness, hence the campaign pursues program goals and partnerships directly aligned with medical and physical well being related to light and lighting.
The Campaign recognizes the importance of environmental light for reproductive health. It supports research in (all) animal reproductive photobiology with the intent of improving animal care and encouraging physical conditions necessary for breeding, reproduction and gestation.
The Healthy Glow Campaign™ features sharks as an ambassador class, because very delicate and minuscule environmental changes in natural light keep these animals healthy and strong as an international symbol of virility.

Photo Sciences Research
Help ZLI fund and pursue research through scholarships, research programs, post-doctorates, research labs and endowed professorship.
Film & Media
Help ZLI fund the upcoming documentary Sharks in a Fertile Light, which is a beautiful, scientific documentary set to explore the photobiology of sharks, the role of natural light in reproductive health.
Sustainable Design
Live sustainably for sharks and rays by supporting our wildlife-friendly design planning services (lighting, architecture, and engineering), participating in our sustainable fashion initiatives (proceeds go towards supporting photo-medical research), as well as by investing in and purchasing sustainable products.
Education
Explore the world of sharks and rays responsibly by signing up for one of ZLI's educational tours (re-starting in 2021), and/or join an ‘Precious Light of Nature Health’ tour, sponsor or participate in ‘Shark Yoga’ events, and/or sponsor or participate in ‘New Moon Dining in the Dark’ events.
